VANFEST TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND CODE OF CONDUCT
By purchasing a ticket to VanFest, you ("you" or "Ticket Holder") are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase. If you do not agree with these terms, do not purchase a ticket for VanFest. You acknowledge that you’ve had the opportunity to review these terms prior to purchase. Your decision to complete the purchase means that you accept these terms. VanFest is not responsible for any claims or disputes arising from your failure to read, understand, or comply with these terms.
SAFETY, CONDUCT, AND ZERO TOLERANCE
VanFest is a safe, respectful, inclusive, and creative environment for everyone to enjoy. This Code of Conduct and Community Guidelines apply to everyone at the event and who participate in our social media channels. Guests, staff, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and press will be held to the same standards. We reserve the right to remove or ban any person who does not adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Making anyone feel unsafe through words or actions is unacceptable. Anyone found doing so will be removed from the event and banned from future events without exception. VanFest will involve law enforcement when necessary and provide all available evidence to authorities. Behavior that negatively impacts VanFest’s brand, image, or status may result in legal action.

HARASSMENT POLICY
We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
* Intimidation or threats
* Inappropriate disruption of events
* Intentionally hurtful language
* Physical assault
* Inappropriate physical contact
* Unwanted sexual attention
* Unwanted photography or video recording
* Bullying or stalking
This applies especially regarding race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, citizenship status, and political ideology. It is solely at VanFest's discretion to determine what constitutes disruptive or harassing behavior.
SECURITY AND WEAPONS
Weapons, fireworks, and explosive devices are strictly prohibited. Bags may be searched, and dangerous or inappropriate items may be confiscated. Violators may be removed without refund.
DOGS AND PETS
All dogs must be leashed at all times. Aggressive or unruly pets may result in the owner being asked to leave. Owners are responsible for their pets’ behavior, must clean up waste, and ensure vaccinations and health documentation are current. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
MEDIA AGREEMENT
By attending VanFest, you grant VanFest the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use any media capturing your likeness, voice, or participation at the event, or that you post related to VanFest on social media. VanFest may modify and use such media without compensation. You waive any rights to royalties or claims.
COMMUNITY MEDIA AGREEMENT
By uploading media to any VanFest-shared folder, you grant VanFest and others the right to use it for promotional purposes. No compensation will be provided. Uploaded media cannot be sold directly, used negatively, or to promote non-VanFest events. Uploaders retain ownership but grant VanFest IP protection rights. Do not delete media. All activity is logged.
BRAND USE

CANCELLATIONS, CREDITS, TRANSFERS, AND REFUNDS
Tickets are refundable within 48 hours of purchase. After that, no refunds are issued unless VanFest cancels the event. In uncontrollable cancellations (e.g., weather), credits or partial refunds may be offered. Approved extenuating circumstances may result in partial refunds. Transfers and credit requests are always approved.
ACCESSIBILITY
Contact us at least 30 days in advance for accommodations. Failure to do so may result in limited accessibility, and VanFest will not be held responsible.
NO LIABILITY
VanFest is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property. You agree to indemnify and hold VanFest harmless from claims arising out of your attendance.
COVID-19
Do not attend if you display symptoms. Practice hygiene and respect others’ precautions.
SMOKING
VanFest is a tobacco-free event. No smoking on premises. Smokeless products must be used responsibly and without mess. If you're smoking anything else, please use your best judgement and do not offend anyone. Work it out if someone asks you to stop.
ALCOHOL
Consume alcohol responsibly. If you are overly intoxicated or unsafe, you will be removed without refund and may face legal action.
DRUGS
No illicit drugs are allowed. Possession, sale, or use of drugs (outside of cannabis or minor psychedelics) will result in removal, police involvement, and a permanent ban.
CHANGES
VanFest reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to stay updated. Continued attendance implies acceptance of any changes.
